The Bernardaud corporate foundation, created in 2003 by the eponymous porcelain maker, aims to introduce the porcelain material to people, to welcome international artists, and to raise the awareness of public authorities to ceramic contemporary creation. Its actions are diverse, and include a big annual exhibition, built around a particular theme. This exhibition is often taken up by the most important museums, in France and abroad (the Arts Décoratifs of Paris, the Museum of Art and Design of New York, the Gardiner Museum of Toronto, the Yingge Museum of Taipei, the Victoria and Albert Museum of London, etc.). The Bernardaud foundation also presents a discovery tour that is open to the public all year long and that initiates to the secrets of porcelain.
